How about reinventing classic gift wrap? This is the initiative of 3 French friends Alice, Benoît and Antoine, who decided to launch their own brand of reusable gift wrapping, also known as furoshiki: Paké. Indeed, after realizing that gift wrap was rarely recyclable and that it generated over 20,000 tons of waste every year simply at Christmas time, the 3 entrepreneurs decided to get involved in reinventing gift wrapping and making it both ecological and aesthetically pleasing. Made in France, in a short circuit in the Loire region, Paké furoshikis are 100% made from recycled vegan fabrics from cotton scraps or plastic waste such as plastic bottles.
