Certified organic, vegan skincare made in France La Canopée is a brand of organic beauty products created in 2016 by two sisters, Cécile and Juliette. Cécile is a chemical engineer specializing in green chemistry. Juliette is a designer and communicator. As consumers, both women were dissatisfied with the cosmetics on offer: too many petrochemical-based synthetics, unattractive packaging... no single product met all their expectations. It was therefore a necessity for them to offer different treatments inspired by their shared passion: nature.So Juliette and Cécile decided to create their own beauty brand with very strict specifications. After 3 years of research, La Canopée was born with the following fundamental pillars: the use of 100% certified organic ingredients of natural origin, the formulation of vegan skincare products and French manufacturing. Our high-quality ingredients are sourced from nature to deliver all their benefits to the skin. They're as good for your body as they are for the planet. What's more, La Canopée organic cosmetics are vegan, containing no ingredients of animal origin or derived from animal labor. Nor are the ingredients used harmful to the marine environment. Last but not least, La Canopée products are made in France, in Grasse, the birthplace of the two co-founders. It was there, in the perfume capital, that the two sisters developed their passion for raw materials. Committed organic cosmetics that respect the environment The La Canopée brand pays attention to its environmental impact by choosing fully recyclable airless bottles. La Canopée products are certified by the Cosmos Organic and Natural labels. They also have the One Voice label, which guarantees the absence of ingredients of animal origin. In addition to protecting the environment, these products are made with 100% natural ingredients and contain no active ingredients that are harmful to consumers or aquatic life. Raw materials are chosen with care. Cécile and Juliette select virgin ingredients and, whenever possible, organic active ingredients. At La Canopée, you'll find cult ingredients like tea tree, hyaluronic acid and coconut. The brand also uses lesser-known active ingredients that are packed with benefits. The iconic purifying cleansing gel contains Bin Cho Tan charcoal. It comes from the Ubame oak, a tree native to Japan. In cosmetics, it purifies the skin by absorbing impurities. An ideal ingredient for combination to oily skin. The soothing milky pink mask contains marshmallow. At La Canopée, marshmallow roots are dried, crushed and infused. This infusion is used in skin care products for dry, sensitive skin. This plant is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, making it the ideal choice for even the most reactive skin. The infusion principle is widely used at La Canopée to extract all the properties of the ingredient. In some products, you can even find the raw ingredient still brewing in the bottle. For example, chamomile flowers are included in our gentle cleansing oil. It is for these many reasons that the brand is now present at Mademoiselle bio. Our favorite treatments La Canopée La Canopée cosmetics have been designed around four beauty rituals. There are four face care ranges: an anti-imperfection range, an anti-aging range, a range for sensitive skin and an antioxidant range. Among purifying face care products, black cleansing jelly with purifying active ingredients is the star product. This cleanser contains charcoal and a trio of essential oils (lemon, fine lavender, tea tree). They purify, soothe and perfume the skin with a delicate citrus scent. The anti-aging range is dedicated to mature skin. The concentrated plumping cream intensely moisturizes the skin. Hyaluronic acid, of two molecular weights, and glycerine fill in wrinkles and fine lines, smoothing and regenerating the skin. When it comes to products for sensitive skin, we particularly like the gentle, anti-scratch cleansing foam. It contains inulin, a sugar that moisturizes and protects the skin from drying out. Its fine foam rebalances the skin's pH and cleanses gently! The antioxidant line gives skin a radiant glow. The fruit acid exfoliating mask chemically exfoliates the skin with hibiscus and cranberry powder. They nibble away at dead skin on the skin's surface. Skin texture is smoothed and radiance is restored! Finally, La Canopée also offers body treatments. We're big fans of Island Oil for body and hair. Nourishes hair and body with coconut oil. It leaves a satin finish on your skin thanks to mica and brings light to your hair. Athletes love Tiger massage oil. Composed of menthol and camphor, it has a refreshing, muscle-relaxing effect.
